PHP Fatal error: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 8.0.2”. You are running 7.3.2.
I am working on a Laravel project and when i made a zip file of this project and uploaded into the web hosting of Linux server and it started to show the following error PHP Fatal error: Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version.
The project is working fine on local host but it is now working on web hosting i am running xampp on my local system.
As I am seeing here error is occurred due to PHP version because you have developed your project on
PHP Version 8.02 and your web hosting is running on
Version 7.3.2 so you need to upgrade either web hosting server’s version or downgrade the project PHP version to 7.3.2
You should install the
xampp version 7.3.2 on your PC and configure your project on
7.3.2 version to make it work on web hosting.
You can downgrade your PHP version by downloading a portable Xampp. from this link
Step 1 : Download and extract it and find the folder name PHP and apache .
Step 2 : Copy these folders and replace these with old xampp’s PHP and apache folders under C:\xampp.
Step 3 : Now Restart the Xampp and check the PHP version .
